Musical opening for Pictures at an exhibition

Updated: Aug 13, 2019

What an atmosphere and what great art presented at the new exhibition at the Gulden Gallery.

The American painters, Peter Esdaile and Larry Welo both presented interpretations of 'Deja vu', moving hearts and opening minds.

I really loved the opportunity to combine visual art with my music.

In these beautiful environment I improvised over Norwegian mountain-music and contemporary folk-music. The special instrument (on the first picture) is a copy of one of the oldest Norwegian instruments ever found, KRAVIK-LYRE, and the viking-skald is said to accompany him/or herself on an instrument similar to my lyre.
